The Climbing Rose 2008 Cabernet Shiraz

Raise a glass to medical research with a case of the newly released 2008 Climbing Rose Cabernet Shiraz. All proceeds from the sale of Climbing Rose support the Cure4CF Foundation drive to develop a cure for Cystic Fibrosis airway disease – a great excuse to share a nice bottle of red with friends, whilst supporting a really important cause.
Wine connoisseur and aficionado, Ian Matthews, has provided the following glowing review of the 2008 Climbing Rose Cabernet Shiraz:
"Sourced from the ancient and relatively rich soils of basalt in, and around, the Kilmore region of Central Victoria, the 2008 Climbing Rose Cabernet Shiraz with its intense, dark, spicy berry/plum flavours with faint eucalypt notes provides a distinctive flavor profile and mid-weight style with fine tannin and hints of cocoa dust on the finish  2008  has proved to be an exceptional vintage and any bottle age you can afford of the Climbing Rose  shall be repaid handsomely due to the strong combination of the fruit and structure of this well-balanced red wine. Cabernet Shiraz, and its alter ego Shiraz Cabernet, are uniquely Australian in the wine world, and it is fitting, therefore, that this combination was selected to support the work of the Cure4CF Foundation."
The 2008 Climbing Rose Cabernet Shiraz can be purchased for $60 for a case of 6 bottles or $55 per case for orders of 6 cases or more (includes delivery).
The production and sale of the Climbing Rose wines is only made possible through the long-standing and wonderful support of the following  companies: Portavin Integrated Wine Services who source and package the wine; Amcor who supply the bottles, closures and transport of the wine;  Visyboard who donate all the carton packaging; wine labels and storage provided by Collotype; and finally, Adelaide Warehouse and Distribution Services who provide storage and distribute the Climbing Rose.
You too can support Cure4CF in developing a cure for Cystic Fibrosis airway disease by purchasing a case of this fine vintage HERE. For more information please email info@cure4cf.org at or call at 1300 131 480. If you would simply like to make a donation to Cure4CF see donate
