MS McLeod Postdoctoral Fellowship Extension

Dr Martin Donnelley, PHD has been awarded a one year extension to his MS McLeod Postdoctoral Fellowship for research undertaken at The Adelaide Cystic Fibrosis Gene Therapy Research Group.

Dr Donnelley’s work includes development of non-invasive in-vivo synchrotron imaging techniques to measure and understand airway surface behaviour, so that the effects of respiratory therapies can be rapidly and accurately assessed.

This work has already discovered innovative ways to measure airway health and provide new capacity in assessment of disease and treatment. The extension to his fellowship also assists him and the team to further develop gene therapy techniques for treating Cystic Fibrosis airways disease.

Congratulations Dr Martin Donnelley on receiving this extension to continue your life-changing work.
